The Chance2Dance try to encourage its members to take part in performances and events! We wouldn't want all the hard work to go to waste so we take up the chance to show everyone what we get up to every week in the studio! Just take a look at all of our wonderful dancers!!!

Here are just a few things we have been getting up to recently!....

It was that time of the year for the Chance2dance annual dance show which was held on November 13th at Churchill school.

The dancers had been rehearsing for 2 months but it paid off.
This year, the feedback has been very positive with many spectators commenting on the wide variety at the show.
There was the original hip hop, the disco, Bangra, acting and even a cat walk selling some beautiful dresses all in aid of the Heroes.

As well as this event, Emma and Michaela had even arranged cake sales at their offices and 'name ted' at the gyms where classes are held.

The grand total was £1600 which was presented to Help For Heroes.
Thank you so much to all of the dancers for their efforts and everyone behind the scenes as well as anyone who donated.
What a great achievement.

The chance2dance have now raised over £5,000 for charity!!!!

This year, the Young Adults competed against 15 other acts at Clevedon's got Talent.

The adults handed back their trophy from being crowned winners last year.
The girls did a brilliant job with some great feedback, the competition was tough and they should all be very proud for putting on a great performance.

The Chance2dance young dancers were asked to take part at Meadow Street Festival.

The girls took to the streets and performed a number of their routines in their snazzy yellow tops provided by RM Signs!

There were a number of young children who came and danced with the girls. It was a great atmosphere!

Well done girls!

The Chance2dance instructors Emma and Michaela had great pleasure in meeting and dancing with Twist and Pulse, runners up from Britain's Got Talent. They took part in a 2 hour workshop and then had time to chat to the guys about dance, taking on board lots of advice.

"Twist and Pulse performed for us and it was brilliant. They are very normal guys and were an inspiration to watch."

The Chance2dance took part in raising money for their annual charity dance show. We would like to thank everyone for their kind contributions and for the 6 girls who really worked their socks off!

The Chance2dance have recently taken part in an intense Break Dancing Programme with 'Champloo.'

This was based over 9 hour classes where the students learnt the basics which were then adapted into the more complex movements including 'the baby freeze'.

Everyone really enjoyed this programme, even though it was tough with some bruises along the way!

We will now be incorporating this into our routines and into the crews so watch this space.

We would like to thank Joel at Champloo who was patient and a real inspiration to watch - we cant wait to have have another workshop!

Well Done Eveyone!

After winning Clevedon's Got Talent, we decided to put our winnings to a Bowling Night for all of our dancers.

"Usher Summer workshop.. a great success."

On Tuesday the 9th August, Emma returned from Edinburgh to teach a one off Usher Hip Hop workshop. The turn out was great and the group learnt many original moves from Usher's music videos.

Emma was delighted to return and teach again.

"Thank you for all that attended the Usher workshop. It was great to back in the studio again with old and new dancers, I had a lot of fun and couldn't believe the amount of choreography we did in just 2 hours! See you again soon for the next workshop!"

Just take a look at our different classes and levels! There really is something for everyone!!!
Just a month after The Chance2Dance were created, we entered our dancers into the 'Weston's Got Talent' competition. We came first in our heats beating 8 other acts! The atmosphere was electric with the whole venue full of people cheering us on! We took to the dance floor in front of 4 judges! The response we had from the public was unbelievable!!

With a week between our terms, we took the opportunity to give our members a taste of something different than Hip Hop dancing, and it doesn't get much different..Disco dancing! As our instructor Emma holds a Disco Freestyle qualification, leg warmers were at the ready and members danced to some old classics! Just one hour of dancing rasied £67, now John Travolta would have been proud!!
The routine learnt was then shown at our Christmas show!

The event was a great team buildng exercise and successful in every way!

Emma and Lauren were invited to the Hospice to hand over the money and meet the people who work there. They were very proud that the dancers were able to help this cause in some small way!
