The Instructors

 
Emma has been dancing since the age of 4. She began at the All That Jazz Dance School and then went onto the Bristol School of Dancing where she completed examinations in Ballet, Tap and Modern on the ISTD examinations Board.

Emma has performed in many productions in Bristol including the Bristol Hippodrome. At school, Emma achieved an A grade for her G.S.C.E dance and 2 A's at A level for her dance pieces in Sports Studies and Theatre Studies projects.

To help her dancing career, Emma is a qualified Fitness Instructor. She is a member of the Fitness Professionals and is also qualified in First Aid. She also gained an ETM (Exercise to Music) qualification and a circuit instructor award. She has taught aerobics for nearly 3 years now.
Emma has taken Safeguard Training and has CRB Police checks for any parents or guardians to view upon request.

Emma was scouted at a Hip Hop class where she was approached to teach and has now been teaching Hip Hop and street dancing in Bristol and Weston for the past 5 years. She has taught over 800 students and choreographed her own classes, festivals and shows. Emma has worked with North Somerset Council providing after school Dance clubs though out the South West.

Emma trained in London for a year to achieve a Freestyle Dance Teachers award. She passed with 96%, Highly Commended. During her studying in London, Emma danced at Pineapple Studios and auditioned for Arlene Phillip’s Dance project making the call backs.

Emma is a member of the International Dance Teachers Association, regularly attending seminars and conferences all over the country.

Emma moved to Edinburgh for a year. Whilst there she auditioned and secured a place with Scotland's Elite dance crew and also danced at the famous Dance Base during the Fringe Festival.

Recently married, Emma has cut back the number of classes she teaches a week to spend time with her husband. She is currently training to become a Zumba instructor where she will add her own twist on her upcoming classes.

Michaela has danced for the past 10 years. She has performed for the Queen and the Mayor of Dublin.

Michaela's dance qualifications include a BTEC National Diploma in Dance and NOCN awards in Performing Arts and Creative Arts.

Michaela has just finished her BA HONS degree in dance at Bath University. Her final piece was based upon the film 'Confessions of a Shopaholic'. She is qualified in First Aid and has taken Safeguard Training with CRB Police checks also for any parents or guardians to view upon request.

Michaela has been running The Chance2dance for the past 8 months whilst Emma has been in Edinburgh. She has been teaching up to 4 classes a week, providing fresh choreography and always teaching with such passion.
Michaela has taken the lead with the Chance2dance Crew Formulate and has led them to great success in just 3 months. She also solely choreographed the Young Adult's routines to secure them 3rd place at their first ever competition at a friendly South West Hip Hop competition.
